Tip!

Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires
So you wake up, look out your Buenos Aires window, and see THIS. Its basically disgusting outside and you have no idea what to make of your (now potentially ruined) day. Needless to say a jog through the Palmero parks is out of the question... so now what?

Here are a few www.minihostels.com tips on how to make the most out of a bummer day by enjoying some indoor activities in Buenos Aires. I mean hey, we are all about travel and we know that you don´t always get handed the best of weather.

1)Brush up on some Spanish - thats right. You´re stuck indoors, you´re in a Spanish speaking country, so get going! Our favorite spanish tip is the Clarin on Tuesdays. You can go to any kiosko and for 3 pesos buy the daily Clarin, and dual language novel. It is a small novela from name authors with one page in Spanish and the exact corresponding page in English. Its a great way to spend a few hours.

2)Museum - Hello! Buenos Aires is all about culture so go check out Malba or another one of Buenos Aires´great museums.

3)Movie - Kind of a cop-out but any weary traveler can use some down time in the theatre. Films and times are listed in all newspapers, online and the numbers to theatres are in the Guia´T as well.

4)Gym - You´re in BA, you´ve noticed one thing. Not too much extra fat walking around. So join the club and hit the gym. Its a great way to be active and stay dry. Almost all gyms offer day passes for reasonable prices.

5)Gormet Rainy Day - Go hit up a cool eatery in Palermo Soho or pìck a new place to eat. You´re in Buenos Aires, you´ll never hit all of them so go give it a try.

6)Shopping - You´re welcome ladies. Go shopping in Abasto, Alto Palermo or Galleria Pacifica just to name a few. These large shopping malls have it all: clothes, food, salons, etc. Some even have theatres.
