El Tesoro de Elqui is one of our favorite hostels and it's easy to see why. And no, it's not just because they have amazing accommodations, which includes a pool. But this desert getaway in the Elqui Valley of Chile gets 320 days of sunshine a year and they have an incredible restaurant, friendly staff and offer excursions into the nearby Valley. It is an amazing travel destination for all South American backpackers and a MiniHostel favorite. Check them out!
